Midway and still truckin'

Well...

It is midway through the soccer season and we have finally lost a game. However, we are still in first place and looking strong. I just wanted to get a message on here for all my faithful readers all one of me so that you know that I am still alive. Other than sports things are going well. Our school is going on a mission trip to Thailand which is the same place we went last year. This year, however, I won't be able to go. I will be staying and catching up on much needed work. I have been getting behind with practices and games. Next year will be great since I won't be coaching basketball or volleyball. I will have those two seasons as breaks before starting what is probably at this point my last season of coaching soccer.

On other notes I will be coming home for the summer for a couple of weeks. Last year I went to something called P.F.O (pre-field orientation) I was a student last year and this year I will be an advisor. I am really looking forward to that. That will be the last week of June and the first week of July. Then I am going home to Kansas City where I will stay and hopefully find a temp job until I head back maybe the middle of the second week in August. I want to get to see all my friends and sing in the choir, play some volleyball, go to a royals game or two and of course spend a lot of time at Wally World. You really never know how much you miss it until you can't go there at the last second. The one near me is open 24 hours a day and sometimes when I can't sleep I'll go and walk around the store. We have one here in Korea however, they tell me it is filled with Korean products and Korean sizes which as you know would do me no good. I miss being able to order things at restauraunts and actually getting what you ordered. Sometimes we will order and then go and pray until the food gets to our table that we got what we ordered. I also find it funny that when I am back for the summer that when I check out of a line at a supermarket that I usually say "thank you" but I have said thank you so much in Korean that I usually say it to the check-out girl and she looks very confused until I change it and get red in the face as I try to explain. Thank you in Korean is Com-som-ne-dah. Just for those that would like to learn a little Korean. I shall put some things down later.

Well I better get going...just wanted you to know that I love you all very much and miss you all. Take care and I hope to see and hear from you soon.

Peace out...later on
