Well finally I can get a photo to upload on blogger and so I am now adding this to my blog along with a few others. Tuesday Feb. 6th about 5:00 in the morning I got a call from our principal telling me that school was not going to be in session because a little snow fell. We, as teachers are to call the students at that point and let them know that there is no school. But before I did I went to the window to see exactly how much snow fell. Sometimes the bus drivers see a light dusting and think that it is too dangerous and won't do their routes. I got to the window to see in part, the picture to the left. It doesn't snow a lot here but when it does...So I got done calling my students and then I tried to get back to sleep and I just couldn't so I got up and thought that I would take a little walk up to the gazebo that I like going to. I thought that the walk through the mountains might be kind of pretty. Wow, not really a cool guy thing to say...hmmm, let's just say that it was pretty in a manly, guy kind of way, okay?
The picture to the left is of a little pathway off the main trail. This leads down to a little lake but I chose not to take it since I was already slippin' and sliding all over the place.

The picture on the right is of the pathway down the mountain, looking from the gazebo. You can see the amount of snow on the trees. It was freaky to be walking down the trail and then have a branch that had a lot of snow just drop it right on your head.

I thought that I would take a few pictures of myself since I don't put a lot on here of me. All of these were taken by me. I didn't want to drag anyone else up to the top of the mountain. It was very slippery, and I had just some lowtops on I figured that it would be easier to have a slide and just go down the mountain that way. I do love to have fun with the camera.

Just listening to a little Christmas music as I walk through this "Winter Wonderland". Yes it is Steven Curtis Chapman... =)

Who is over there? Fun with faces...

oops...
Who, little ol' me???
I wish you guys could be out here to see some of this stuff with me. It really is a lot of fun, and I would love it if you could come out and even visit...sometimes seeing the same people day in and day out can get monotonous. I have one more picture that when you see it most of you will say...ohhh that's just typical Aaron...enjoy and I hope to be able to post more soon. Our KAIAC tournament is coming up and my girls are really looking primed for a good run. I'll let you know how it goes.
Later on...peace out.
