Hello all,
I thought I would take a moment to say hello from the basement of my parents house. I am about a week or so out from making yet another trip to another country to do what I feel the Lord is asking me to do. This is probably this biggest trip of my life in that I am leaving everyone that I know behind both in Korea as well as the states. I am packing up somethings and trying to see what I am going to be needing for at least the next two years of my life. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the Lord will provide and protect me as I venture out into a country that is in the middle of a civil war.
I also thought that I would have a little fun here. This is supose to be sort of like a diary that the whole would can look at and learn about the other person right? So while I was cleaning out my storage facility, I came across my old diaries. They were the funniest things that I have ever read. I think what I will do is write them down word for word in a word document and then pick and choose which one to post on here every now and again. This one should be a great starter:
March 9th 1996
"Today was a very special day, it was our Championship as the Grizzlies coach. We were to win 29-28. What a win. I was so proud of all my girlsespecially of Mary Spease. I have never met a girl so eager to learn and to teach. We all got trophies, even me. I don't think I've ever been more proud. They are now MY girls. I call them that because most of them want me as their coach. I could write for pages and pages on end on just this season. Maybe I should write a book about my coaching life."
Enjoy this picture as I head off and take care of some more packing and moving. I do have a WONDERFUL story to tell you about the vacation that I was able to take just after school ended. I was able to go to Los Angeles, Kansas City, and New York. with A LOT more lay overs in between, but I want to get all of the details as perfect as I can since it was a great once in a lifetime trip. I guess this should leave you waiting for more.
